3. Integration Setup Process

To enable the UpsideLMS integration with Skillsoft, follow these steps:

  1. Step 1: Enable Skillsoft API settings

    Before configuring the integration, ensure that Skillsoft API access is enabled. Reach out to your UpsideLMS support representative to obtain the required API credentials.

  2. Step 2: Configure UpsideLMS and Skillsoft Integration
    1. Log in as Site Administrator to your UpsideLMS portal.
    2. Navigate to the Settings section.
    3. Select “Integrations” from the menu.
    4. Choose “Skillsoft Integration” and provide the following details:
      • Skillsoft API Endpoint URL for courses and progress report in Request URL sections
      • Skillsoft Organisation UDID
      • Token details
      • Configure the frequency to sync the content and reports (Content sync weekly is preferred, and report sync daily is preferred).
      • Add your email ID to receive updates on the sync progress and failures.
    5. Save the settings to activate the synchronization.
  3. Step 3: Enable Single Sign-On (SSO) (Optional)

    Enhance the user experience by enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) between client infrastructure and Skillsoft. This is because UpsideLMS only redirects the users to launch URL and a client SSO would help the users more seamlessly.
